The dust created major challenges for Helena Gunnarsson's Horse Clinic, but our products solved the problem and radically improved the indoor environment.

- Already after a single treatment I noticed a huge difference, now both we and the horses feel much better," she says. Helena Gunnarsson has worked as a equine vet since 2001, for eleven years she worked at Jägersros Horse Clinic and in 2019 she started her own business in Staffanstorp. She has renovated the building in beautiful light colors with plastered walls, put in new boxes, created examination rooms and put in an asphalt floor. While renovating the walls, much of the plaster ended up on the floor, and she soon discovered a major problem. Plaster, like raw concrete floors, has a porous surface that emits dust with every friction.

"There was a fog of dust in the room after we swept. No matter how much we swept, the air was filled with dust particles and our furniture and equipment were covered in dust," explains Helena Gunnarsson.

"Once we had swept a room, it couldn't be used for an hour. Instead, we had to plan the working day according to when we had to clean, which meant that we often chose not to sweep until the end of the day, but that didn't feel good. This is a clinic and we need a good indoor environment, both for horses and people." Application including drying took half a day and the improvement was immediate. When the clinic opened the next day, the indoor environment was significantly better.

"There is a huge difference, the air quality is much more favorable. Horses are very sensitive to dust and thanks to Q Stable there has been a great improvement in the indoor environment," says Helena Gunnarsson. She points out that many stables have problems with dust coming from the ground, but also from the roughage and bedding.

The dust that comes from the surface can in some cases be harmful to both humans and animals, but with Stallgång you get rid of a large part of the dust particles", says Helena Gunnarsson. "It also makes it much easier to sweep and keep clean. This is a benefit for everyone at the clinic."
